    Thank God Press Release_2015

(USA - Dakar, Senegal) November 20, 2015 – Two American
Artists, Pozzie Mazerati and Nc. Abram has everyone in West
Africa chanting the “Thank God” anthem. The two traveled
over 6,000 miles from USA to Africa for their first International
Tour on the Continent and to shoot the Visual for their latest
collective Single “Thank God.” Pozzie and Nc were both touched
and perplexed to see the Continents superb beauty, the amount
of gratitude shown by the people and how thankful everyone
was towards the smallest things that most take for granted.
They documented each exciting step capturing sites rarely
displayed including the most beautiful Countryside’s in West
Africa and the most disadvantaged. While on tour in Senegal,
performing the single for thousands and connecting with new fans, they noticed the large array of talent and the lack of artist development programs and decided to give back and launch The HeartBeat Project a Music, Art and Education Institute. Their success attracted the attention and special visit from Grammy Award Winning Artist and Philanthropist, AKON.

The artists pushed the envelope with the idea of Youth Empowerment, crystallizing their organization “Rhythm & Remedy; Where Hip Hop Helps.” Their tactics to give back while still climbing towards success proved to be beneficial, gaining the recognition of Akon (Founder of Konvict Muzik and Akon Lighting Africa) saying, “I’m very proud of all the work you both are doing. Pozzie and NC put a beautiful allocation together, surprising me with a studio dedicated to myself in Africa, for the youth.” The two were also joined by the 1st Five time Grammy Award Winning Producer in Russia, Gibson who has worked along with P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Pit Bull, Timati, Jason Derulo and more. Gibson was moved and impressed and later said, “Rhythm & Remedy is doing big things in Senegal and some of the most amazing stuff for the kids out here.”

To gain more momentum with the release of “Thank God” Pozzie and NC planned and executed the following tactics:

    • Collaborating on this record, their upcoming LP and future change campaigns with Hit Producer, Mixing Engineer and Graphic Artist: Amir Swain. His credits include artists like The Game, Chris Brown, Ray J, Christina Milian, Mya, Willie Taylor & more.

    • Utilizing their network of celebrities, local artists and organizations as the perfect platform for notable individuals to get involved with their creative based youth empowerment programs and to build personal working relationships for unfolding projects.

    • The Drive Across America Tour, where Pozzie Mazerati and Nc.Abram are traveling State to State going directly into inner city communities and school locations performing, sharing life changing experiences from West Africa and the power of gratitude with their ingenious visual release of “Thank God”
