Abdelouahed Suhail is a Moroccan politician, born in 1946 in Casablanca. It is affiliated to the Party of Progress and Socialism. January 3, 2012, he was appointed Minister of Labour and Vocational Training in the Government Benkirane.
Abdelouahed Suhail came in 1963 the Moroccan Communist Party ( PCM ) , he was a member of the regional office responsible for the area of PCM student in Casablanca from 1965 to 1968 , member of the board of the corporation law students from 1965 to 1967 and general secretary of the section of Casablanca national Union of Students of Morocco.
He is a member of the Politburo of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS ) from the first National Congress held in 1975 , it was for this reason repeatedly charge of economic issues and the drafting of several position papers adopted at sessions of the Central Committee and Congress . He was Chairman of the Political Committee of the 5th and 6th Congress of the party and is responsible for the relationship with the world of ideas and business. He was also responsible for the creation of Ali YAATA Foundation.
On the other hand , Abdelouahad Suhail was elected councilor of the city of Casablanca from 2003 to 2009 .
Moreover, it has been a union activist Trade Union Interbank UMT and elected staff representative . He also provided an advisory role to the management of the Moroccan Labour Union he represented in seminars and economists of the world of work conference .
He was also a member of the Banking Committee of the Professional Association of Banks in Morocco where he took an active part in all modernization projects , regulation and reform of the banking system.
Abdelouahed Suhail has won the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences in Casablanca where he earned a degree in economics , he joined the contest on Moroccan Foreign Trade Bank ( BMCE ) in November 1967 as Executive Assistant . Upon completion of training courses in European banks , it was given , during thirty years in the same bank , several management responsibilities and leadership of regional branch networks .
This long operating banking career has allowed him a thorough knowledge of the Moroccan productive fabric as well as build strong relationships with all economic policymakers.
Abdelouahed Suhail has actively participated as a member representing the banking community , the work of the "Committee for monitoring the project to develop the private sector," which includes representatives from the public and private sector and the World Bank.
After the privatization of BMCE in 1995, he was given the leadership of national and development activities network marketing business with clients , individuals and professionals.
In June 1996, he became Director General in charge of the network, customer commitments , development, electronic banking , marketing and back office hotel in Morocco that time had nearly 180 branches and 2,000 employees.
In February 1998 , he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Immobilier et Hotelier by King Hassan II. He shall hold office until 2001. There will initiate various projects such as the upgrading of the company's results , the clearance of some of the bad debt , lower overhead , lower resource costs , streamlining human resource development network and renewal '' picture. It will develop and begin with the support of regulators and shareholders a rescue and recovery of the bank.
Abdelouahed Suhail was also a director of several companies including the National Petrochemical Company and electrolysis ( SNEP ), National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM ) and the National Social Security Fund ( NSSF ) .
